Local Girl Scout Troop #642, comprised of local 6-8th<\/sup> graders, is conducting an outdoor gear drive for an organization called Homeless Gear. This group collects unwanted outdoor gear and redistributes these items to the homeless. Items to be collected are<\/p>\n

Pack Cover Daypacks<\/p>\n

Sleeping Bags<\/p>\n

Sleeping pads<\/p>\n

Cots<\/p>\n

Blankets<\/p>\n

Tents<\/p>\n

Stuff Sacks<\/p>\n

Ground Cloths or Small Tarps<\/p>\n

Warm Coats<\/p>\n

Hats, Scarves or Gloves<\/p>\n

Boots and Socks<\/p>\n

Rain Ponchos<\/p>\n

Water Bottles<\/p>\n

Insect Repellent and Sunscreen<\/p>\n

First Aid kits<\/p>\n

Personal Hygiene Items<\/p>\n

Flashlights or Headlamps<\/p>\n

Battery Powered Alarm Clocks<\/p>\n

Camping\/Backpacking Bowls, Plates, Cups, Spoons, and Forks<\/p>\n

Sunglasses<\/p>\n

Donations may be dropped off at the Estes Park Pet Lodge, Elkhorn Properties, and the Public Library or call Laurie Goff at 586-5492 By December 11, 2008.<\/strong><\/p>\n
