{"id":317,"date":"2010-06-13T18:45:17","date_gmt":"2010-06-14T00:45:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lorismith.biz\/blog\/?p=317"},"modified":"2010-07-02T10:03:26","modified_gmt":"2010-07-02T16:03:26","slug":"sneak-preview-of-trail-ridge-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/lorismith.biz\/blog\/2010\/06\/13\/sneak-preview-of-trail-ridge-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Sneak Preview of Trail Ridge Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My husband, Alan, and his friend, Michael Hodges, ran up to the Alpine Visitor Center on May 19th before the road opened.\u00a0 They drove to Rainbow Curve on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park and parked there to start their run.\u00a0 It is 17.25 miles round trip to the visitor center and back with 2000&#8242; of elevation gain.\u00a0 They did have to deviate from the road because of the snow removal operations going on.
